Permission to Take Photographs or Film in the Museum

LAMOTH welcomes the public, media, and research interest in the Museum and collections, and we try to accommodate requests to photograph, videotape, or film in the Museum whenever possible.

LAMOTH allows researchers, media, and commercial filmmakers to photograph objects or exhibits or use LAMOTH as a backdrop only with prior permission from the Museum, and with the payment of a fee. Fees will be negotiated based on size and scope of project.

Anyone photographing or filming in the Museum must sign an agreement covering terms, conditions, procedures, and intellectual property rights before photographing or filming.

To obtain permission to take photographs or film in LAMOTH, please complete and return the contract and release forms below at least ten working days before the planned date of your shoot.
