Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust Condemns Attack on Poway Synagogue

Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust condemns the shooting at the Chabad of Poway synagogue today, at a Sabbath service on the last day of Passover, only six months after a brutal attack at a synagogue in Pittsburgh. We send our deepest condolences to the victims, their loved ones and the Jewish community of San Diego. Tomorrow we will gather as a community to mark Yom HaShoah, the annual day of Holocaust commemoration, to remember those murdered more than 70 years ago. The violent attack this morning reminds us that the task of fighting antisemitism is not yet over.
