LOS ANGELES MUSEUM OF THE HOLOCAUST DECRIES ANTISEMITIC HATE RALLIES IN CHARLOTTESVILLE

Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust, the oldest Survivor-founded museum in the United States, firmly stands against the Charlottesville hate rallies.

"The alt-right, white supremacist, KKK, and neo-Nazi messages of bigotry, racism, and antisemitism must be condemned, unequivocally and without any false equivalency," stated Paul S. Nussbaum, President and CEO of Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust. Crowds chanting “Jews will not replace us” remind us of a horrific past that our Museum speaks out against every day," Nussbaum added.

At Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust, tens of thousands of students every year learn how hate speech led to some of the most horrific events in history. We stand with our community of Holocaust Survivors and continue to teach acceptance and respect. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family of Heather Heyer, who was not afraid to take righteous action. In honor of Heather and all victims of Nazis, we urge you to join us in fighting for justice and humanity.
