LAMOTH holds Moment of Silence for Munich Victims
The Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust hosted a moment of silence at the Munich Athlete Memorial in Pan Pacific Park. The ceremony took place next to a plaque memorializing victims of the 1972 Munich Olympics terrorist attack on Israeli athletes. The moment of silence took place at 3pm on Sunday, August 12th, 2012, at approximately the time when the closing ceremonies of the 2012 games in London hit their mid-point.
