Walk of Remembrance was the first activity for the Yom HaShoah Commemoration on April 22. At 9:30 AM visitors took a walk with Holocaust Survivors Regina Hirsch and Harry Davids, turning Pan Pacific Park into an actual timeline. Visitors walked along a path amongst pre-arranged "Memory Markers" and learned first hand about the events commemorated. These Memory Markers included Kristallnacht, Camps, Ghettos, and Liberation. History came to life as survivors reflected on their personal experiences and the legacy of the Holocaust. The inspiring stories of survival and humanity provided each listener with an invaluable and unforgettable insight into one of the most important events of the 20th century.
