DESCRIPTION:This free series will further explore the Holocaust in contemporary contexts.&nbsp; The BYO brown-bag lunch-and-learns will be held at the Museum on the first Friday of every month from 12PM-1PM. &nbsp; This month features Museum docent Michele Gold.&nbsp; Michele, whose mother was a Kindertransport survivor, will speak about the history of the Kindertransport.&nbsp; She will also share excerpts of the interviews she conducted with 103-year-old Sir Nicholas Winton, the oldest living Holocaust rescuer.&nbsp; Currently, Michele is writing a book about the Kindertransports documenting about 750 Kinder.&nbsp; Holocaust survivor and Museum docent/speaker, Gabriella Karin is illustrating the book.
