SUMMARY:Yom HaShoah Commemoration
DESCRIPTION:Join the Museum for an all day Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day)  Commemoration.
 Schedule of Events:
 10am-5pm Museum Tours
 Commemorative Artistic and Musical Performances; Survivor Speakers, and Children's Art Activities.  
 11am International Walk with Holocaust Survivors
 Pan Pacific Park transforms into a historical timeline.  Walk with survivors along a path of pre-arranged "Memory Markers" and learn first hand about the events commemorated.
 2pm Ceremony of Commemoration
 Keynote speaker Ruth Kluger, Professor Emeritus of German at the University of California, Irvine and a Holocaust survivor.  She is also the author of the bestseller Still Alive: A Holocaust Girlhood Remembered about surviving childhood in multiple concentration camps.
 Honorable dignitaries to inlcude the Israeli Consul General and Jewish Federation President Jay Sanderson. Featuring a special musical performance by Theodore Bikel.
