Teen Advisory Board Application

Teen Advisory Board Application

Founded in 1961, the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust is the oldest Survivor-founded Holocaust museum in the United States. The Museum’s mission to commemorate, educate and inspire reflects the founding Survivors’ desire to commemorate those who perished, honor those who survived, and provide free Holocaust education to the public.

The Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust offers free creative educational programs, centered around museum visits, connects Survivors with teens who retell the Survivors’ stories, sharing their reflections through different art mediums, such as film, theater, music and photography. Utilizing the horrors of the Holocaust as a source of motivation and activism, Survivors' inspirational and timeless stories are teaching the power of perseverance as well as the importance of protesting injustice.

Program Description
We invite you to apply for the 2018-19 Museum Teen Board, a cohort of dedicated high school students from across Los Angeles who are committed to furthering the Survivor-founded mission of Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust.
