In 2016, the Museum's Teen Advisory Board launched PAIRS (Partnering Adolescents in Intergenerational Remembrance with Survivors), a program that pairs Holocaust survivors with teens to form intergenerational connections. Each pair met throughout the school year, engaging in conversation and building memories, and preparing the teens to carry on the survivors' legacies.

The PAIRS program was awarded the LA Jewish Teen Initiative (LAJTI) Teen Innovation Award in January 2017.

This exhibit displays the final projects designed and produced by each pair. In various media, the projects express the survivors' life stories.
