Director of Archive, Library and Historical Curatorship: Dr. Vladimir Melamed
Dr. Melamed earned his doctoral degree in Modern European History from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He authored two books and a number of articles on interwar European history and the Holocaust history. He worked as a senior researcher and historical content analyst with Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation in Los Angeles. In 2006, he held a Post-doctoral Scholar Research Fellowship at Harvard University. He has served as the Museum’s Archivist/Historian since 2007.
